I think Keshi should be probe for his World Cup preminary selections. How can a reasonable coach leave your best player out and selected injury and below average players to the World Cup. Agbim, Uchebo, Nwofor, Micheal baba tunde, Rueben, MBA ,Shola, have no business to be in Brasil. You need players who are playing regularly with there clubs. So Mr Keshi your selections looks biased and unjustified . I would advice you to listen or seek advice after all you are not the special one or Ancelloti, even the Italian are taking Mario Battoletti to World Cup with all his behaviours. Please my dearest coach make necessary amendment is not too late.

Based on the players available in the squad selector, I considered loyalty to players that helped us qualify, increasing the goal threat in the squad, streghtening the defense and solidity of the midfield spine, I think its a representative squad.

I expect 80% of this to be Keshi’s list. This list was made not based on my own thinking but I was just trying to read the gaffer’s mind. I don’t see him including players he has not invited in the last 1 and half year except those who just became available like Chinedu Obasi (he may be called up) apart from him I don’t see the likes of Haruna, Taiwo, Ikeme called up (not my way) just trying to think like Keshi

The current crop of players do not seem to have the level of individual skills required to successfully compete with the best players at the highest level. Therefore, strict emphasis must be on teamwork, discipline (defensively to prevent conceding lots of goals, and in the attack, to ensure all opportunities, including ‘half chances’, are converted) and adherence to ‘mass attack. mass defense’ strategy.

    I wish them well

Nigeria has enough quality to do well at the world cup but to what level will depend on the technical staff, the extent to which they can integrate the players into a single entity. Team walk and harmony in the camp are the keywords.

this is my initial list. i would a situation whereby the players selected will be prepared to give 100% when chosen. i would prefer a strong backline supported by a battling defensive midfield giving the frontline creative attacking threat. Everybody plays for the team no indiscipline.
i think you can prepare a fantasy world cup competition where players can players across the participating countries

I would go for 4-4-2 diamond or a 4-2-3-1. Both have proven to be effective. With a Nigerian side short of “world class players” and tournament like the world cup, I’ll go for a 4-4-2 diamond especially when playing an attacking team like Argentina. The diamond has proven to provides a solid defensive cover for the back 4 and cover for attacking wingbacks when they drive forward. Its creates a platform for the attacking players to express themselves better and on counter attacking. Playing with 2 strikers always provide more attacking treat. The Italian national side, the 2000s Milan team that dominated Europe, Juventus and Liverpool this season deployed this formation and achieved great success.

Whats the point playing with wingers that cant deliver quality balls to the box? (Musa and co)

My Nigerian Starting Eleven would be

    Enyeama

    Ambrose Omeruo Oboabona Echiejile

    Onazi Mikel J Obi

    Moses

    Emenike P Odenwingie

    Steve.

I don’t really have any problem with the coach’s selections, but the problem I have is Ike Uche, he played 19 league start and scored 14 goals, during the rain of Pedro who scored 15 goals in 28 starts,Gareth Bale who scored 15 goals in 24 starts and David Villa who scored 13 goals in 32 starts. He is not suppose to be considered but to be on the list.

I dont think NIGERIA is ready for the w/cup because as they played against greece they cant play against argentina like that and win because ARG is a big team and that plays with passion, even during the match i watch how MOSES,MUSA, even MIKEL played if not for the sake of enyeama nigeria would be defeated. And all the player on MR KÈSHî LIST ARE 80% fit unlike of other country that are readily made available. Mr KESHI still need to boost his player for HIS country sake……… We need a winning,we need the cup,we need our glory, they can even played as they did in the conf.cup. We are the champions and champions always show there worthy way……. Brazil is hot,we need an A.C to cool it down for goodness sake……. I think we gotta do it together………. Shout out to NIGERIA………… The EAGLES fly high,WE ARE THE AFRICAN CHAMPIONS……. We need to prove that we are the WORLD champions………… Super EAGLE
