I love to have Akaminko and Sumalia playing together at the’ back role’The combination of Essien and Rabiu will work perfectly well as our good old horse would add his rich experience to the swift moves of Rabiu and at the same time help shield the defence.
The acumen of Prince augmented by Ayew and decisive play of Kwadwo Asamoah will add an icing cake to top marksman’s (Asamoah Gyan) moves.Mind you! Both Inkoom and Afful can overlap.Ayew and Kwadwo Asamoah can help in defence as well. The trio; Prince,Ayew and Kwadwo are also good goal poachers. This selection is for the match against USA.I prefer Adam in post because he seem to be doing well whenever the team plays outside Africa.Just check the friendly game against Brazil.Pls don’t count the Montenegro friendly, the goal was not his fault(laugh it off)

the 3-5-2 formation is the relatively the best for our team considering the strength of the players we have now. the right and left back position is not necessary because we do not have good players to occupy these areas so it is better to strengthen the midfield where player like andre ayew, rabui mohammed and kwadwo asamoah can always withdraw back to help the defense when there is an attack on us. I will not play both Essien and Muntari at the heart of mid-field since it might be a problem as to who should work for the ohter hence rabui mohammed. majid waris will complement asamoah gyan better than kelvin prince boateng. KP Boateng should play behind them as number 10. i prefer kwarasey to fatua simply because kwarasey is very experienced than Fatua and has enjoyed regular playing time at his club.

I believe essien with his experience should come in later to change the game when the going get tough, and kwadjo asamoah should be given room to operate from the back and overlap often.

Play attacking midfield against USA with three(3) defense guards thus left, center and right and win your first game by attacking through yet preventing and denying USA from scoring.
Play defensive midfield against Portugal and Germany with three(3) swift attackers at left, center and right.
Ghana will definitely prevail with this strategy.

this is my 30 squad: 23 first, plus the 7. Here we go: kwarasey, Dauda, kingson, Afful, boye, Jonathan, opare, inkoom, sumaila, akaminko, addy, essien, muntari, badu, rabiu, ayew, atsu, asamoah, wakasu, prince boateng, waris, gyan, jordan. (i guarantee that this is 98% correct). These are the other seven to add up to thirty : schlupp, vorsah, boakye yiadom, afriyie acquah, john mensah, stephen adams, accam. Notwithstanding, suprises may come in, like schlupp getting into the 23 ahead of Addy, stephen adams instead of kingson, and perhaps vorsah in for sumaila (if only he is fit). GO GHANA

This is the best XI ghana can put up Asamoah will be a dangerous wingback for ghana with his strength and speed he can dribble and bomb forward to deliver crosses and can go back to support the back 3 Essien is a good shield infront of the defence and he can also dictate the midfield Muntari has to help control the midfield Ayew and Boateng should support the attack waris should go out wide to deliver crosses to Gyan and play a shadow striker role to open up space for Gyan
